One of the key points is the introduction of near real-time e-reporting for VAT transactions by 2028. This comes on top of the already announced mandatory e-invoicing for Belgian B2B transactions as of Jan. 1, 2026. This means that paper and PDF invoices will no longer suffice for these transactions. The aim of this measure is to automate VAT processing and further reduce the administrative burden for companies.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Important to know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The obligation does not apply to deliveries to individuals (B2C).<\/li>\n<li>Invoices must be sent and received in a structured electronic format.<\/li>\n<li>This will reduce invoice processing time and reduce errors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46ac24d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"46ac24d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Near real-time e-reporting by 2028<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-89c93c8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"89c93c8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In addition to the e-invoicing requirement, there will be a near real-time e-reporting system in 2028.
