payment deadline. For example: <\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Invoice amount<\/strong>: \u20ac1,000<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Cash discount:<\/strong> 2% if paid within 10 days<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Normal payment term<\/strong>: 30 days<\/span><\/p><p>If the customer pays within the 10 days, he pays \u20ac980. You <strong>always calculate the VAT on the total amount with discount<\/strong>, regardless of whether the customer uses the early payment discount. The standard provides specific fields for the discount percentage, period and payment terms so that the discount can be processed correctly by software and is clear to the recipient. In practice, we are that many companies work with credit notes.
