Nymus NV is based in Belgium and therefore follows Belgian legislation on cookies.

2. Purpose and usefulness of cookies

Nymus NV wants to inform each website visitor as well as possible about his rights under the Belgian legislation on cookies, and about which cookies Nymus NV uses.   • Management of cookies

Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. To enable cookies, perform the following actions:

By browser – Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • In Internet Explorer, click “Internet Options” on the “Tools” menu.
  • On the ‘Privacy’ tab, move the settings slider to ‘low’ or ‘accept all cookies’ (setting above ‘medium’ disables cookies).
  • Click “OK.

By browser – Mozilla Firefox

  • Click “Firefox” in the upper left corner of your browser, then click “Options.
  • On the “Privacy” tab, make sure the “Let websites know I don’t want to be tracked” is unchecked.
  • Click “OK.

By browser – Google Chrome

  • Click the three dots next to the browser bar at the top of your browser window and choose “Options.
  • Find the Privacy and security section and click on content settings.
  • Click on the “cookies” option.
  • Now select “Allow sites to save and read cookie data.

By browser – Safari

  • Choose ‘Preferences’ from the task menu. (The task menu is in the upper-right corner of the Safari window and looks like a cogwheel or click on ‘Safari’ in the expanded task menu.)
  • Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called “Cookies and other website data.
  • Indicate that you accept cookies.

If you wish to consult the website of Nymus NV, it is recommended that you have cookies enabled. However, if you prefer not to, as a visitor you are free to disable cookies via your browser settings. This can be done through the following ways:

By browser – Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button and select Internet Options.
  • Select the Privacy tab and under Settings, move the slider up to block all cookies. Click OK.

By browser – Mozilla Firefox

  • Click the menu button and choose “Preferences.

  • Close the about: preferences page. Changes you have made will be saved automatically.

By browser – Google Chrome

  • Select “More Settings” from the browser toolbar.
  • At the bottom of the page, select the “Advanced” option.
  • Under “Privacy and Security,” select “Content Settings.
  • Select “Cookies.
  • Turn off “Allow sites to store and read cookie data.

By browser – Safari

  • Choose ‘Preferences’ from the task menu. (The task menu is in the upper-right corner of the Safari window and looks like a cogwheel or click on ‘Safari’ in the expanded task menu.)
  • Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called “Cookies and other website data.
  • Indicate that you do not accept cookies.

  • Rights of visitors

Since cookies may constitute processing of personal data, as a data subject you have the right to the lawful and secure processing of personal data. As a data subject, you can exercise the following rights:

  • Right to oppose: If there are weighty and justified reasons, it is possible to oppose the processing of personal data.
  • Right of access: Any data subject who proves his identity has a right to access the information surrounding the existence or non-existence of processing of his personal data, as well as the purposes of such processing, the categories of data to which such processing relates, and the categories of recipients to whom the data are disclosed.
  • Right to correct: Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can always be corrected or even erased at the request of the data subject.
